Stages:

1. First Draft – I write the story!
2. First Edit – I do my first round of editing and then pass it to my beta reader.
3. Audio Edit – I listen to the story and edit some more.
4. Third Edit – I incorporate my beta reader’s feedback and any other changes I want to make before sending it to my editor.
5. With Editor – My editor has it.
6. Final Edit – I incorporate my editor’s feedback, read it over once more, and do my final tweaking.
7. Released – It’s out! Note that, depending on the method of publication, months can elapse between steps 6 and 7.
