I watched all 6 parts and the UK update, and your documentary certainly offers a more in-depth look at a topic that was only touched on in GOOD HAIR. GOOD HAIR did mention that most of the distributors of the hair care products are Asian (not specifically Korean). I don't have a problem with Koreans owning stores that sell hair products to the black community. You're not doing anything wrong by owning a store that serves a community you don't belong to. But Korean distributors apparently refusing to carry products manufactured by black-owned companies--that does seem wrong. Aren't there laws against that in the US? If someone could prove that the only reason these distributors are rejecting the products is because they're manufactured by black-owned companies, then surely there would be some legal avenue(s) to pursue?

In any event, your documentary is definitely worth a look for those interested in issues around black hair care products.

Please take a moment to check out my documentary film BLACK HAIR

It is free at youtube. 6 parts including an update from London, England.

It explores the Korean Take-over of the Black Beauty Supply and Hair biz..

The current situation makes it hard to believe that Madame C.J. Walker once ran the whole thing.

I am not a hater, I am a motivator.

Plus I am a White guy who stumbled upon this, and felt it was so wrong I had to make a film about it.

self-funded film, made from the heart.

Can it be taken back?
